Gritron ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Slidescape mobile application and this marketing website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Slidescape.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information you provide

Account linking: When you sign in with Google, Apple, or Play Games, we receive identifiers and display names provided by those platforms.
Display name: A nickname you choose for leaderboards and multiplayer rooms.
Support contact: Information you send us via email or contact forms.

Information collected automatically

Game progress: Level completion, scores, stars, achievements, daily challenge status, and settings preferences.
Leaderboard data: Scores and rankings submitted to our server when you use online features.
Multiplayer activity: Room participation, game state, and connection metadata during online sessions.
Device identifiers: Anonymous session tokens used to associate progress before account linking.
Push tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens if you enable notifications.
Local storage: Progress and preferences stored on your device via platform storage APIs.

Information we do not collect

Slidescape does not collect precise location data, contacts, photos, or microphone recordings. Campaign gameplay works offline without transmitting puzzle moves to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

Provide, maintain, and improve the game and online features
Sync progress across devices when you link an account
Operate leaderboards, daily challenges, and multiplayer rooms
Send optional push notifications (daily reminders) when enabled
Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service
Detect abuse, cheating, or technical issues

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

Service providers: Firebase (Google) for push messaging; cloud hosting for our API at server.gritron.com
Platform providers: Google, Apple, and Play Games when you use their sign-in services, subject to their privacy policies
Other players: Your display name and scores on public leaderboards and in multiplayer rooms
Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect rights and safety

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS for API communication and access controls on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain account-linked progress and leaderboard entries while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us. Local-only progress on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear app data.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you
Withdraw consent for optional features such as notifications
Object to or restrict certain processing
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
