Gritron ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Flextron mobile application ("App").

2. Information We Collect
Device Information
- Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- Bluetooth adapter status (used solely to discover and connect to the Flextron ECA BLE flex fuel sensor).
Location Information
- GPS coordinates when the map feature is active (to find nearby E85 fuel stations).
- Your GPS coordinates are sent to the NREL Alternative Fuel Stations API (developer.nlr.gov), operated by the U.S. Department of Energy, solely to query nearby E85 station locations. They are not stored or transmitted to Gritron servers.
Vehicle & Sensor Data
- Ethanol percentage and temperature readings received from the Flextron ECA BLE flex fuel sensor, and calculated values.
- This data is stored locally on your device.
Usage Data (Anonymous)
- Anonymized crash reports and feature usage statistics to improve App performance.
- No personally identifiable information is included in these reports.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the App's core functionality.
- Analyze anonymized usage patterns to improve features.
- Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do NOT use your data for:
- Targeted advertising.
- Sale or transfer to third parties for marketing.
4. Data Storage & Retention
All vehicle data, logs, and GPS tracks are stored locally on your device. We do not operate cloud servers that store your personal vehicle data. Anonymized diagnostic data may be retained for up to 12 months.

6. Bluetooth & Location Permissions
Bluetooth
Used exclusively to scan and connect to the Flextron ECA BLE flex fuel sensor. No Bluetooth data is transmitted externally.
Location
Used to display your position on the map and to query nearby E85 stations via the NREL API. Your GPS coordinates are sent to developer.nlr.gov for this purpose only — Gritron never receives or stores them. You may disable location access in your device settings, which will disable map and station-search features.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
