Overview
Flextron ECA is a compact flex fuel sensor module designed for performance and tuning applications. It reads ethanol content and fuel temperature directly from the vehicle's fuel line and broadcasts the data wirelessly over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Simultaneously, it pushes the same data onto the vehicle's CAN Bus, making it instantly readable by compatible ECUs and tuning platforms — with no additional wiring harness required.
All CAN Bus parameters (message ID, frame type, update rate and bus speed) are fully configurable via the Flextron mobile application and are retained in the module's non-volatile memory between power cycles.
Key Features
Bluetooth LE Broadcasting
Continuously streams live ethanol percentage and fuel temperature to the Flextron app over BLE — no pairing required.
CAN Bus Output
Injects ethanol and temperature data directly onto the vehicle CAN Bus in real time, readable by supported ECUs and flash tools.
Configurable CAN Settings
Set message ID, frame format (Standard / Extended), update rate and bus speed. All settings saved in onboard memory.
Dual Sensor Readings
Reports ethanol content (0–100%) and fuel temperature (−40 °C to +125 °C) simultaneously at configurable update rates.
Complete Kit
Ships as a ready-to-install set including sensor, microcontroller unit and all required fuel line fittings and hoses.
App Integration
Pairs with the free Flextron app (iOS & Android) for live dashboard, data logging, map of E85 stations and configuration.
Isolated CAN Interface
Galvanically isolated CAN Bus interface prevents ground loops and protects both the module and the vehicle's CAN network from interference.
Wide Voltage Input
Operates across a 7 V – 36 V input range, making it compatible with 12 V and 24 V vehicle electrical systems out of the box.
TVS Diode Protection
Transient Voltage Suppression diode on the power input effectively clamps surge voltages and transient spikes, protecting internal electronics from load-dump events.
CAN Bus Configuration
All parameters are configurable via the Flextron app and stored in non-volatile memory.
